1. Information We Collect
Account Information: You can use our app without an account. If you choose to create an optional account, we collect your credentials (such as email) to save favorites. This data is securely stored using Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS).
Local Ticket Parsing: When sharing tickets (.pkpass), unzipping and extraction occur entirely locally in-memory on your device. We do not store or transmit raw files.
On-Device Calendar Access: If enabled, the app scans locally for movie-related events. We do not upload or read personal, non-movie events.
Location Data: Used for active theater queries. We do not track location in the background.
Crowdsourced Logs: Logged wait times are aggregated to calculate public averages. Public stats are completely anonymized and never linked to your personal account profile.
2. Third-Party Service Providers
We utilize secure database hosting via Supabase, and database lookup/sync via Trakt.tv and TMDB.
